However, I cannot believe that half a semester has already passed. So much has happened. I have enjoyed this semester so far and hope to finish it well. I thought that my workload would die down after midterms, but I am as busy as before. It is a blessing, though, to have schoolwork because it reminds me how lucky I am to be attending a university.<\/p>\n<p>Most students come to California Baptist University knowing their major and having an idea of what they want to do. So, it can get a little frustrating to not have a major. I do not really know what I am working towards or what I want to do. At times, I want to take a break from school to try figure that out. However, I think that staying in school will actually help me figure out what I like doing, what I am good at and help point me in the right direction.<\/p>\n<p>All in all, it is a bittersweet time for me. With half a semester out of the way I know that I am closer to graduating. However, two of my \u201capartment\u2013mates\u201d will be leaving at the end of this semester. I have enjoyed the time that we have spent together and do not want them to leave. That is one hard fact about college. Sometimes you get to know someone for a semester and then have to turn around and say goodbye. I need to spend more quality time with them and enjoy the time we have left together, though. They leave in less than two months. That is less than six weeks!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Prayer:<\/p>\n<p>Please pray for the victims of Hurricane Sandy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Midterms are over, and I\u2019m glad to be done with them.
